Yep the original Worms title will be coming to iPhone shortly. I'm sure it will take out any competition in line
i don't know it seems that some of these clone games have been getting better than the originals... i do think i will wait till both are out though in order to compare them.
Welcome to TA. Judging by your first post, it appears that you are an educated man who researches before he posts. I like that, we have too many people on here who spurt random things without even thinking. In response to what you said, it is true that they did say it a long time ago. But then again, nobody knows except for Team 17 themselves, so we can only hope.
I played SoldierAnts many years ago on Symbian UIQ and it was fun. But I doubt it could stand its place in comparison to a proper port of Worms.

Due to the time and effort put into the game I think the price is very reasonable for the quality of the game. Have you played the game or do you not want to part with $3 (a pint of beer) for the game?
Looks fun. since team 17 is not to quick to the draw, I'll probably pick this game up soon. Hopes its as good as snails...
I wish a pint of beer was only $3 around here. my problem/thoughts are that, this is a clone/copy of a game that is supposed to come to the device soon/sometime, also there is no way to try it before one buys it. therefore games like iShoot (i realize it's not teams but, it is similar game play) that have versions to try will get my money before ones that I have no idea about. and i'm sure you are thinking "well you are one person, what do I care?", well there are many like me, we can wait, or buy other games. we will gamble with .99 but we generally don't at 2.99, not when none of the review sites have gotten a hold of it, or codes have not been provided for word of mouth marketing around here. also, snails reloaded is the old person on the block, and pricing it at the same price, doesn't make it easy for one to say, yeah I'll grab this game that is the same price, and nobody knows about, from a developer that has provided no details to us. good luck.
lol that review is a joke. besides the whole thing being a biased glob of words, my main problem lies with: it is not "VERY DETAILED" as you stated and with this: lol, ummm maybe the game is different from the screenshots. you are seriously going to put that in the category with 2xl supercross? fieldrunners? fastlane? zenbound? sway? this list goes on, however those are games with graphics that deserve 5/5. and while this type of game might not need great graphics, you don't give it 5/5 for great graphics when they aren't there. also:
Just to let you know codes have been handed out to many sites including this between 1 to 2 weeks ago but I believe due to the amount of games and apps hitting the device the turnaround time on reviews is quite sometime. This project has been developed in free time and sorting everything out from dev to publishing is extremely time consuming. A lot of effort has gone into getting the best app possible into the public domain and hopefully people will enjoy it.
