That's totally understandable-- one of the biggest hassles with having my device jailbroken is long waits between resprings and sometimes sketchy/unreliable apps. Most people, though, usually cite their reason as "i don't want to risk bricking my device" or "i'll void my warranty", etc....reasons which are totally unfounded.

  3. You can't brick the device, I agree about that. However, technically it does void your warranty, as Apple will refuse to fix a device that has been jailbroken. As long as you restore before giving it to Apple to repair though, you're fine.

Yes. I've literally never gone a day without any of my iDevices jailbroken.

Sure if you mess up it's a pain in the ass, but the benefits of being jailbroken outweight the benefits of not being jailbroken by far.

Now if only Apple would make the Lock screen more usable like with info on number of new messages, emails, etc.

How is "Undecided" even an option? It doesn't even make sense...

Some people are undecided. They jb, then the next day, they restore, then they jb again, then they restore even if the jb works without any bugs whatsover. I was one of them before lol

Meh, I've never seen the advantages of Jailbreaking. Yeah sure you can change your home screen, icons whatever. But I like the iOS enough not to be bothered to go through the tenuous process of having to jailbreak my iPod.

Of course, and because of the reasons that Mindfield rightfully stated.

My iPhone 4 is jailbroken, my iPad 2 is not. Odds are I won't jailbreak my iPad 2 even when one is available. I'll stick to having my iPhone jailbroken. I like some of the features I can add via Jailbreak, but you do lose some stability and performance, potentially a lot if you go hog wild. I hope that Apple will incorporate some of the better ideas into iOS.
