I'm going to finally start saving up for the iPad; but is the 2nd one better than the first one-when it comes to gaming?

    Thanks ahead of time.

So that's the reason why I see so many listings for people selling their first generations ones. Thanks for the tip!

Ipad 2 is much more powerful graphics wise it can do about 7 times as much at once. I don't think any developer has took advantage of it at all yet though a bit of extra anti aliasing in some games just. I'd like to see someone push it to the limit but it probably isn't something that will happen until the other devices catch up.

Crazily some local stores here are still selling the Ipad 1 at a higher price than the Ipad 2 I wonder if anyones been fooled by that.

There's a ton of games that barely ran on the iPad 1 that perform beautifully on the iPad 2 (all the TellTale adventures, Dungeon Defenders). You also have games like Real Racing 2 and Infinity Blade that look and perform better. Shadow Gun is coming out soon, too: that one runs at 60 FPS on the iPad 2 (compared to 30 FPS on an iPhone 4).
