I have a great idea for a zombie game. It will be the zombiest of all zombie games. However, I'm aware that there is already a ton of zombie games out there. Would you guys still play a new zombie game?
Your first paragraph is a platitude. Using a qualitative and superlative to promote your game idea sounds incredibly flat and uninspired. Of course, there's a chance that this will turn out to be the opposite of another run-of-the-mill zombie game. Why don't you disclose your 'great' zombie game idea and let others judge just how interesting it is? I'm not going to lie but from what you've written, this sounds like a dose of ambition and self-admiration.
Ok, here's my game idea: You are a zombie horde. You move through random backgrounds, fight random humans. No loading between 'stages'; one minute you'll be in a desert town, the next you'll be trudging through a swamp, each area segueing into the next. The game will have a tactical aspect to it. Your horde gets bigger and badder the longer you play. The game will only have one currency - brains. This is your score and your weapon. And yes, I am ambitious! I love designing games. I want this to be my full-time job one day. I want to be great at this. Anyway, what I'm more concerned about is if people still have room in their libraries for one more zombie game, kind of how the PC had a glut of WW2 games.
If there ever was a zombie apocalypse, I'd surround my house with outward facing treadmills, problem solved
