yeah i remember this is how i played asphalt 3-5 years ago, see where the technology is going to the topic: I really wanna see what gameloft could do in a mass effect clone, probably a fail game
It's possible that Nintendo could kick their asses if they tried. Nintendo IPs are very distinctive and nobody seems to mess with the possibility of copying or cloning them.
Red Steel 2 House of the Dead series Fire Emblem series (turn-based SPRG) Starcraft series Thief series Elder Scrolls series ... Lots that they haven't cloned, and probably will clone.
A donkey kong country spinoff or similar game heck even with pretended snes graphics, would be just Be awesome. I bet it wouldn't be that hard to make such a game on the advices considering game lofts experiences with castle of magic and platformers. It could be more old school than the wii version but also awesome or just as new school but with different level layouts. A Mario vs dk clone from the new version requiring the ipad stylus to enjoy would also be great IMO as that game gained a 9.0 on ign. It's weird cause gin gamers seem to hate the advices cause of the touch screen but love even ds touch-screen only games like Mario vs dk. I think they just want games geared toward the platform and respect stuff that doesn't compromise like plants vs zombies etc. Not disrespect the control inputs per se. But to tell the truth I'd love the gab Mario vs dk with a mix of platforming and puzzle.
Do you guys think it would be feasible for the iPad and 3GS and up to handle a direct morrowimd port? Let's say game loft got the go ahead or paid heretics to let them port it. Would it even be possible from a technical pov? I think if they did that it would be the only way game loft would undertake an open world rpg because of how long they take to make unless Ported.
Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel They have now. It's almost like they released this out of spite.
Now that you have taken the time to find that pic, tell everyone when they released that and when the last time gameloft came out with something like that. Was it the prehistoric days of the AppStore? Yes, I think so.
I'm thinking.... Morrowind. Fallout 3 wasn't the same experience, neither was Oblivion. On second thought they could do it more like Daggerfall and still get huge profits Otherwise.... Dwarf Fortress, Elona, or Sauerbraten (all of those are PC/MAC/Linux games) Actually an Elona clone I'd love. I think the Iphone is missing out by not having a top down sandbox roguelike with that many playstyles (adventurer subtypes, farmer, pianist, fisherman/tourist...)
