Is there any police tycoon type of game?

What I mean by "police tycoon" is where you play as a police officer and you have missions to capture criminals. You drive in a police car, go on high speed chases, etc. Basically you play on the opposite side in a game like Grand Theft Auto. You are chasing, not being chased. Are there any games out with this idea/theme? This game can be for any platform.

    What platforms do you have?

iPod Touch, DS (don't use it all that much though), PC

I know, I don't have many platforms. It seems like an interesting theme for a game though.

I think Gameloft has a mobile version of Splinter Cell. They could port that over to the iDevice... ;)

Yeah, they do. I did some research on SWAT and they have a mobile version of SWAT too. Sure hope they can port that one as well.

Thanks, I'll hold out and see how the reception is before I consider buying it. By the way, I played the demo of SWAT 4 and it's REALLY awesome. I'm going to get the full version ASAP. I get the chills playing it and it sends my adrenaline sky high. Thanks for recommending it! :D
