I'm wondering - is there an app that watches the appstore for, say, games you specify, and then either automatically buys them or alerts you when said games go on sale down to a certain price?
App Sniper (the original one), App miner (Free!), and Bargain Bin (only one that currently has push notifications - also free) to name a few. None of them will automatically purchase an app (that would violate the sdk) but they alert you when a sale price point has been met and have a link you can press to go to the items itunes store. There is also appshopper.com - Touch Arcade's excellent sister site.
Question about Bargain Bin. Can one add apps to watch list for future update purposes, or is it just for new sales? Thanks.
Think Bargain Bin is for sales only. You can set it up to watch an app with it's current price but don't think that will alert you to an update.
pandorabox just updated and now it won't work "Unable to download data" Anyone else seeing this? And yes, powered down / up.
I find that Pandora has connectivity issues. I have both it and Bargain Bin on my phone and find BB to be the more reliable of the two. But they're both decent apps
