Never heard of Schwa, did a bit of digging, and the whole thing seems quite interesting. So this is the guy that popularised the oval headed alien.... Also from what I can gather, for those who've never heard of Schwa, is that the artist behind it, Bill Barker, Disapeered totally back in September 2001. The site that starjimstar listed above, is registered by a company called "CompuWatcher", Now they are a Web Design/Tech Support company located in San Francisco. This makes me think it's a hoax, as you would assume that if Bill Barker was going to make a re-appearance, he'd either register the site in his name, or his companies, And, seeing as his usual contact address was in Reno,NV, It would seem like this truly is a Hoax. Still, Interesting nonetheless.
The mystery surrounding Bill Barker's sudden disappearance in 2001 is every bit as alluring as his brilliantly strange artwork. An anonymous post on Wikipedia is perhaps the only possible clue to his whereabouts:
