    Australia, mate!
    It's already a gaming device.

Is a forum a potential communication portal?

It's a multimedia platform that some use for gaming. To me, it's more of a music player/on-the-go web browser than it is a gaming device. I still like the games available for my iPod, but it just doesn't compare to my PSP.

so to tie it in with the topic, I don't think the iPhone has any potential as a gaming device..

To me, it's much more of a gaming device than a music player and I barely touch my DS anymore and have sold my PSP. I love that many of the games on this device are simple pick up and play type games. I have no time for long drawn out games like i did when I was younger.

I use it for games first, camera, phone, music player and lastly web browser and other features pretty much in that order. I picked up the phone because when I bought the touch for $299, I figured why not get the iphone instead and am happy I did:) I am not much of a cell phone guy but it's nice to be able to make a call and text with my gaming device :) :)

I am having more fun with the games on here than I have had for years.....since SNES days :)

I spend way too much time on TA and love to be able to download new games anytime and have new ones pop up every day.

Yeah. Quite amazing. I can do phone calls with my handheld gaming device.

Can you, Mr PSP, or you, Mr DS? :p

All i can say is WTF?=) lol this could be the most random thread title i've ever seen! Of course the iphone IS a gaming device already. It has GREAT FPS with fabulous online multiplayer like NOVA, awesome graphics and fluid animations like AVAtar, and it has UE3 coming to it DAMMIT!!))))) lol i could continue this forever.

It's like asking: `Is Metallica a potential metal rock band?` btw Metallica FTW!!!

Okay, I checked. It wasn't rigged and there is no gremlin in it.
Actually, the 3GS seems to be a potential phoning device, too.

P.S.: where do I have to put that transistor labeled: 100mAx3?
