LogMeIn Ignition is like a VNC server. You can view your pc through your iPod/iPhone. I just wanted to know if it's any better than mocha vnc or jaduu or whatever the other one is called. I mean things like lag, stability, whether it continuously disconnects...
vnc is client server. logmein is display mirror driver - server -client. so no, its not vnc. beyond the technicals, its great! i use logmein on most of my personal workstations, and many of my client computers (im a network administrator). while it is fully functional and mostly fully featured, obviously the iphone display is the only limitation. it works very well over 3g and better on wifi. if youre heavy into remote access its the way to go!
Already discussed Hello. Have a look at this thread. Big discussion between Jaadu and LogMeIn: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=21721&highlight=jaadu One of the latest suggestions was RemoteTap. I have that app now, and I like it alot. With the help of a DynamicDNS applet that auto-loads on startup (so you can remotely connect from anywhere via a memorable name rather than changing IP address), it works just as well as any of the solutions... and is cheaper at $5. Good luck with whatever software solution you use.
