What is up, Apple? I swear I've grabbed some 20 updates today! This is coming from a guy with no life who checks the AppStore fanatically 90x/day, so these can't just be seen as letting stuff pile up for a few days either! Hopefully this means approval will soon be getting back to normal as I've never seen such a one day "flushing of the system" (and, sure, 95% are tinsy tweaks to make them more OS 3.0 compatible, there were still quite a few nifty new tweaks made in these games as well).
I just noticed the same thing. Maybe Apple got sick of the approval process, and just put them all through at once.
Out of curiousity, is this making the appstore run painfully slow for anyone else? I'm on a wifi connection, and I can barely budge, and it often disconnects me while maneuvering through the menus.
Yes, that happens to me too. I got 10 updates today and two of them only took 2-3 days to approve. Sentinel 2 and Tyrian just came out a week ago and they already got their updates! Awesome though. I think Apple is just approving whatever update comes!
I've always been curious as to which games you actually keep on your iDevice post-review. I'm sure you've posted it somewhere... *pokes around*
Actually I think it has to do with the holiday weekend. Most companies in the valley are closed, but Apple is up and running. So it's a slow day businesswise which means approvals are probably moving along at a faster clip.
No excuse for them not to, especially since all of the other Space Arena Shooters got their updates today!
WHOA!!!! Just got three more! I left a second then came back and three more were there! EDIT: BeatRider came with it!!! YAY!!!
I have about 330 games that are backed up separately and another 128 in my iTunes queue which I switch out all the time and for updates. Then I have 7 pages on my iPod Touch which I probably need to clean out.
