      Such as I turn in my iPod Touch 8GB and toss in like 99$s or w/e much you pay and get a 16GB etc?

      is it possible?

      Depends on how long you've used it and what condition it's in.

      around a half a year/close to a year.

      It's in very good shape to be honest. nothing modded, nothing done, has a few scratched, and the back looks nice and clear.
