Let me rephrase this. How do you have too much homework to see your friends, yet only have a C average?
Fo'real. If you say you are in high school, just wait. Grad. School will spank you. I barely have time for my girlfriend, and we live together. Word to the wise, high school does not matter. Unless you are planning on attending Stanford, don't turn your back on your friends; they are for life.
Indeed it can! Something like: You are going to leave for the weekend with your girlfriend in her small holiday house by the sea and suddenly: her mother decides to come with you! (true story )
At least you guys HAVE itouches! We had to use "payphones" in high school to call people! We didn't have cell phone issues in classrooms, and pagers were up and coming... you have it good with technology! Also, loved Freshman and Sophomore year, but after that, I wanted OUT of high school!
I did extremely well in previous years so I ended up in all advanced classes. Now it's extremely difficult. I'm lucky to be scoring what I am.
The word perfect is used way to often. Nothing is perfect, especially life. While you may have it all good at the moment, don't think it will last. Either way this thread should (and probably will) be merged with Kijib's thread.
If that's the case your life is not perfect. E: This thread is pointless . Sometimes I'm really unsatisfied with my life for no reason, but after that I usually am happy .
good things in life: -not many fires in LA this year (the house-destroying type, not the job-ending type) -just randomly got one of those mailings where they send you tons of address labels with your name & address printed on them, next to pictures of bears and ducks and fish and junk -girlfriend washed the bathroom today (yay!) -my friend covered our bar bill the other night -both the heat wave and the cold snap seem to have passed -PC is not making funny noises so much anymore -want a hot dog, soda, and a slice of cheese pizza at costco? $3.84!!! bad things in life: -too many fires in LA this year (the job-ending type, not the house-destroying type) -iPhone seems to be dead & beyond revival -flaked on my friend's concert last night, now he is sad -transmission in my car is acting up -hangnail, on my right thumb -all my tshirts have big holes in the armpits -unhappy about having to maybe leave LA --well, that was cathartic!
