Sounds like meteor blitz...although the "bland" part threw me.

Try BloodNGuns instead. I find it much more fun than idracula ever was, though it lacks the perk feautures but that isnt really a big thing.

    Doing nothing of importance.

The game is still awesome. It has enough content to keep you coming back. On the other hand, I do think that Alive 4 Ever is a bit better but this is still worth it. It's an iPhone classic, why not? I got it back during its $0.99 launch sale and I still like the game.

I got both Alive4Ever and NOVA today, and I love them. I have trouble choosing which to play when I pick up my phone.

    Thanks for the help, guys.

Alive4Ever is one of the best DualStickShooters for the iDevice. But there is another game with less complex graphics which is worth every penny: Isotope

In Isotope you have loads of different levels and enemy types (more than in any other dual stick shooter...), there are some small boss types that appear more than once through all the levels and there are 2 big bosses. The Retro graphics still look amazing... get it :D

Not sure if dracula was ever worth it, the gameplay gets old quickly. There is no sense of actual progression but more of the same mechanic.

although we should give props to this original for innovating in certain key areas.
