I already own Earthworm Jim, Castle of Magic , Soosiz, and a couple other platform games. How does Frogatto compare?
Why do u have a frown face under castle of magic? It was an awesome game. And I was thinking the same thing.
It's pretty much a must get. I would rank it as equally good as Soosiz, which long held the position of being my number one platformer on the iPhone.
If you like platformers, and you appreciate retro done well, you should have no problem shelling out a buck to get Frogatto. Personally, I think it's the best platformer in the App Store, but that's a matter of taste.
i dont understand why you are asking this question let alone making an entire new thread for this!? you obviously seem to enjoy platformers and frogatto is a single dollar! whats the big deal?! anyway, it's an amazing game with amazing graphix even though it can be frustrating and repetitive at time. i still love it though.
Are you kidding me!?!?! BEST PLATFORM GAME EVER, and especially with the sale you shouldn't even ask us!
I just wanted to know how Frogatto stacked up with the other platformers I have. What's the big deal?! I've already started downloading it.
its a really good game. the graphics alone are worth a dollar and while the controls ( sometimes when jumping) can be A LITTLE frustrating, this game is so much better than most one dollar games
Cough cough that's a little exaggerate don't you think? I played yet only the beginning and it's cute and has charm and definitely worth the try. But the controls are a rather bad port, there's zero adaptation to the touch platform which is rather lazy and not very pleasant to play. Controls aren't a detail, it's the heart of any action game, and here the job is bellow the average. Often visual of the game aren't fully clear. For example it's not always clear where you can jump and bounce or not. Also damaging stuff aren't always obvious. Also I have read that if the first part is very well done, later parts drop down in quality. All that said and despite the bellow the average controls (but not that bad) it's a must play for any fan of platform game, at least from what I have seen in the first parts. But even if I stick on igames there's platform games better than it, yeah just my 2 cents.
There must be something broken with your ipod or your game as the controls for my copy of Frogatto work perfectly. Bottom line: easily the best platformer on the iPod.
