Was submitted on 2/18. None of our (TEN!) titles have taken more than a week?

Is it too political? Afterall, Apple didn't approve the "Obama Bounce" game.

    You tell me:

Meanwhile, the Android version shipped. Crazy.

Almost all games have been taking forever to be approved. I'm sure yours is no different.

    Read this: http://appstorehell.chocoflop.com/wiki/Main_Page

Yes, we got the "requiring unexpected additional time for review" message.

Then tell me if I was wrong for making a new thread.

I'm not in a "happy place" right now.

    See the link.

I'm worried because of the "Obama Game" rejection.

So far all we got was the "requiring unexpected additional time for review" message over two weeks ago.

It will make it. Bailout America came out. And Kyper got delayed to the point of death.

Kyper had to change the network high score thing? Right???

Nice game by the way. Reminds me of the Vectrix system.

Thanks for the info about "Bailout America." I think our character may be more 'political' but now I have some hope.

I think it'll make it. But that someone in a higher rank might need to review it so that's the "additional time".

We've got a rev with some of the suggestions from the PocketGamer preview, but we don't dare upload it and take the chance of delaying this anymore.

Sure hope you are right. This keeps me up at night. It's a nice 99c game. Deserves to be out there.

With all the news about the AIG bonuses ... NOW would be a nice time for Apple to finally release this.

Seriously. Good people working on this. Real $$$, not from VC's, was spent on this.

Approving this now would give the title a shot at doing well.

Is it any more political than the Blagojevich-inspired Play2Play, Bailout World or Bailout America? As I said, I'm not a happy camper. Nothing from Apple other than the dreaded "review delayed" message. We have 10 apps in the App Store and even before Apple had native apps we had 14 Web Based games, some of which had 100's of 1000's of players a month. I personally have been developing Apple games since the Apple II, did the first Mac flight sim, produced the first CD-ROM Mac title, I bleed in Apple Rainbow.

We changed the language in the game extensively. Greedy CEO became Greedy Guy etc. etc, Removed any mention of the charity (Second Harvest Food Bank ....) from the description. Etc. etc.

Yeah, I'm whining, but good people worked on this game ... money, not from VC's but from our projects, spent. I'm just not happy.

"But for unexplained reasons, Apple’s App Store reportedly has rejected the harmless video game – baffling the techie crowd and quite possibly sparking a debate on how much control the company should exert over content that's even remotely political."

IDK sounds still like a violation of first amendment to me. Its just like a political cartoon in game form. Your game isnt really that bad either...

We pushed the team to get this done right and done in a timely manner. None of our prior 10 apps took more than 4 days for approval, and Bigfoot came out not that long ago.
