Been waiting for this one for what seems like years! Kind of bad timing on the release with new iPhones to be offered at the same time -- but I'm sure they'll still sell a ton of copies
I'm getting a Warcraft 3 vibe. Is that accurate? I'd be very happy if that it true since we are never getting Warcraft 4.
More like a starcraft setting, but yes. Also, more emphasis on heroes than war/starcraft so throw warhammer 40k dawn of war into the mix. This is like...all my favorite aspects of those two above mentioned rts's rolled into one PLUS some innovative stuff I would reckon. THIS....will...if anything...and kinda sadly....take the place Dawn of War 3 was SUPPOSED to take in my gaming library this year...but kinda failed miserably to do so # So, I believe...basically an rts, with squads etc, but also a few beefy heroes to lead said squads that will be more like rpg characters in that you will level them up throughout the game and also gather war gear to equip them with.
Even though the game is out this week I thought I'd bring the thread back to life to remind people it's out this week!
Yeah, I can't wait. I'm hoping this with scratch the itch Dawn of War 3 SHOULD have....DoW 3...biggest PC game disappointment of the year # Iron Marines already looks to be leagues more interesting and fun.
