New update from gameloft. They seem to hear people complaints so far :D.

    - the armor now is cheaper. I just bough i7 with only 12500 iso and if i'm not wrong, in previous version the armor cost around 65000
    - special weapon button has been moved to the special weapon bar. I'm glad they did that. I always hit this button accidentaly in previous version when attacking enemies or when moving the iron man using touch control
    - the iso is more generous now. Usually i only get around 1k when i reach 35000. Now i can get around 1,5k. I think they add more blue orbs and gold orbs.
    - they also balance the game difficulty. The damage is more acceptable than previous version and the missile is more dodgeable now

I'm very glad with the update :D.

The latest update claimed to improve the menus and overall user experience. That means longer load times between the run stats screen and the armory screen, an additional step to even get to the armory after a run (ala "Hey! Buy this armor even though you literally can't since you'd have to unlock two previous armors to even access it!"), and best of all, an ad that pops up *just* late enough to where you accidentally tap it because you're trying to swipe to another suit.

Sweeeet! Hey do you guys know if I can switch progress from my iPhone to my iPad? Sometimes Gamelofts games let you do that like Gangstar Vegas.

I was able to transfer my save files using ifunbox by copying over the Documents and Library folders.

It will help you organize your files and back them up into a computer. Works on non-jailbroken devices which makes it a good program to keep.

This isnt really the place to talk about it, but i can tell you that much i think.

Created an account just to post here.

I really enjoy this game ... but what really bugs me is the damage 'scaling' and the crazy timers.

Took me ages to unlock and pay for the Mk42 through grinding and then it takes 30 hours to build. On top of that, it takes 3 hours to fix. Since I did not pay a cent I guess I shall not complain. But after hours and hours of playing I get to play my best/favourite suit less than 5 times a day, which is pretty much a slap in the face from gameloft.

And then the damage, which really ticks me off... Missiles take about 2% off MK42's health bar early on. The moment I get further into the run I can go from 29% health to game over with the wing of a fighter jet. Is it only me or does everyone else get that?

Any way to pick what levels you play?

I've noticed that too. Sometime, hitting the wing of a jet does no damage, but then the lamest hit kills me.

@putermcgee Haha so I'm not alone. it's REALLY annoying.

Some 'tricks' or 'bugs' that I noticed. Could be in my game only though.

    - Sometimes when you are hit by anything right after you finish your fusion charge there will be no damage. Can somehow be used to your advantage.

    - Spawn points for certain powerups are always the same. E.g. the fusion charge on the left after you fly through lots of buildings in new york, fusion charge between 2 stone 'pillars' in the mountains of China.

    - Timers. I'm still trying to work this one out, but when I close the app during the results/loading screen and relaunch the app, sometimes the timers are filled and you don't have to wait for the armour to get fixed.

    - Regardless of the armour you use, no 2 maps will repeated back to back. I don't like the China map, so I keep using the Mk3 to start and abandon a game until I get the China map, then I use the armour I want to fly in either Malibu or New York. Unfortunately there seems to be no sure fire way to get the map you want.

    Just sharing! =-)

I totally agree with you! I would have paid $20 to unlock ALL suits if it didn't have timers to fix them... And then they would have actually gotten money from me! As it is, I play every now and then, and I haven't given them a cent. Their loss!

Perhaps the faster you are going, the harder the jets hit. Total BS but there is some logic behind it...maybe. Anyways, I totally agree about Mark42 and the insane amount of time between unlocking, building, buying and repairing the suit as it's also my favorite.

Gameloft seriously needs to add multipliers to this game. They were present in TDKR and there hardly was a grind for anything in that game so the decision to omit them is baffling.

Anyways on a related note how much is the Silver Centurion to unlock AND build?

    A way round the timers

Hi everyone, I *sorta* managed to find a way round the timers, but it has a minor setback. I hope this helps whoever is still playing the game.

Like all game with timers, just setting your iphone clock forward will do the trick, but make sure that you have airplane mode on. With any sort of data connection this does not seem to work with mine. After setting the clock forward, make sure your armours are repaired or have completed building, and then you can turn your airplane mode off.

The setback: Using this method, once you crash the 'Fix' timer gets ridiculous. So the amount of time you have to set your clock forward gets larger and larger each time. For me, once I crashed my Mk42, it needed 26 hours instead of the usual 3, which I skipped using the method above.

Another bonus is all daily missions get fast-forwarded as well, but likewise the timer for the next mission will get ridiculously large, which you can bypass using the same clock method.

So if you have completed the game and are trying to rack up ISO8s this could be the fastest way. MODOK 3 gives 50 a pop, and if you are using a high tier armour together with this 'trick' you'll be getting ISO8s every run.

    Hope this helps!

    Finally, to Gameloft:
Iron Man 3's hype is over. Pls update this game and reduce the costs for everything and remove the annoying timers. You can start to throw you an endless flyer for Man of Steel now.

Terrible. It's pretty much just an endless waste of time. They should have made it free-roam.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if that would work with this game.

And you're right. Gameloft won't be getting any more downloads or purchases until MAYBE the DVD release if that. This game would've been so much better had we been able to have an unlock all for like $10-20. They would've actually gotten my money. As it is, the timer work-around is the answer!

Whoa. I was saving up for the Mark 42, so I haven't taken a look at prices recently... But did the prices go up a while ago?!? I swore I was able to get 30,000 Stark Credits with 200 ISO-8 a while ago, but now it takes 500?! What the heck?!

Someone needs to hack this with HexEdit and figure out which file we need to alter to give ourselves as much currency as we want.

You would think it being July Fourth and all that gameloft would put the Iron Patriot on sale like they put other suits on sale before
