I'll check again on my iPhone. It's possible I didn't notice it because the joystick is a bit more cooperative on there.
Anyone know how to conquer Ch3-5? I'm at lv 16. I've upgraded all weapon and armor to max but still pale in comparison to the enemies. I guess I'm curious if I could squish them later once I reach level 20? Or do I need something else?
One more question: With my armor reinforced to max, it says I should "check to ascend to higher weapon/armor." Does this merely mean I should 'forge' a new one or is there a separate "ascend" button? Ascend seems to imply that my current weapon/armor can transform into a higher level one without forging anew.
Games quite impressive so far. Servers need to be fixed and polished. Loading times and server live check-ins are slow everytime you do something. Also it's a big buggy but understandable. The devs could be onto something here. The greatsword is insane! Loving the two hand rogue guns as well. This games def the closest to a souls on iOS. It does appear to be well made. Could be a big hit if it's cleaned up.
Hmmm, I forged a new chestpiece and just now noticed that it has less defense (but more fire resistance, mind you) than the default armor. In fact, the default armor generally has better and balanced defense stats compared to almost every single craftable armor except for two sets. Is this intentional? Weapon crafting have been a clear cut upgrade so far, but I have almost no incentive to craft more armor and just reinforce the default one instead.
The basic (starting armour) has the highest base defence stat. It's to ensure that it remains useful. The additional armour that you can forge will reinforce higher than the +5 rating of the basic armour and it has much higher elemental protection. For example, using the armour with flame resistance when fighting an Ash enemy will make you much more resilient due the the Ash's attack being flame based (therefore the flame resistance negates a certain percentage of the attack and then the base defence stat of your armour soaks up the rest). The idea is that you have multiple sets of armour for different types of quests. You're not supposed to stick to one set of armour. If you are able to have an entire armour set with flame resistance, along with complimentary rings, bracelets and necklaces you could theoretically max out your flame resistance and any flame based enemy attacks would be mostly negated. When you start a quest it recommends what weapon and armour to use.
Ahh interesting. Good that all armors are useful then. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question! In other news, just hit lvl 10 and discovered PvP. My sleep and tiredness is gone. I'm noticing alot of players opting for the greatsword. I'm more fond of the gauntlets for pve, but can see why the greatsword would be so useul in pvp. The range and pokes are ridiculous
Tip: Replay the Introduction and beat the boss, fairly easy if you kite it. If you kill it, you'll earn an achievement and 10000 gold. Can only be done once of course and there's no timelimit in the level, so no rush.
I end my pvp night on a 5:21 win/lose ratio. Thats awful, lol. 2 of those wins were me pushing players off a cliff. Other 3 were close calls. Had another two matches where I killed the player in our 1v1 duel, and then another guy shows up outta nowhere. Also, I could just be salty but some of these players were dishing out some crazy combos. Welp, back to the drawing board. This game gets more and more fun each time I play it. fake edit: did a couple 1 shot backstabs on 3 players, now that was satisfying.
It's not real-time PvP. You're not fighting other players, but the ghosts of their characters controlled by AI.
Gah this game is amazing. Question: do all barrels explode? I'm a huge dark souls / dark souls 2 / lords of the fallen fan. Loving it. Is there treasure chests in any maps? I feel like I should go straight for the enemies instead of exploring. I'm really enjoying this though and for a 4 man original / 9 man team it's awesome.
I've found one "chest"/rubble in each level, they switch position though, like, they have three or four different prefixed spots where they'll randomly appear, containing different mats.
Seems only the movable barrels explode. Strategically position them so that invading players could trip and explode. Treasure chests are not on the map and move around with each different session, I think.
Bored at lvl 17. Sadly but the game keeps crashing for me, and always crashes at my final blow. My pvp record is 3x win, a few loses 7 or 8, all because of the crash or unlucky (u know what I mean when they let another AI enter your pvp game. The trick to win in pvp is pretty simple and boring, I keep my distance, swing 1 hit in the air and let the 2nd hit hits enemy, that way I can be sure the enemy cannot atk me, while I can deal fatal blow to him In pve I can do the same for most mob, 1st hit and 2nd hit the air and let the 3rd hit (whirlwind) hit the mob. However the exp rate, gold rate is too slow, while the mob is stupidly too strong AND spam too many.
Yes, soju disinfects all wounds. That should be added. We/I am going through as many of the comments and feedback and various other forums. With relation to that, currently working on the update for after the update that is currently in review.
When u get invaded while playing a level it is a live player or when u search for a corrupt. But u can also attack people who previously invaded u, in a separate land, where u are fighting their ghost/AI.
