@Alexythimia23: It's a bug. Fixed for next update, posted in Notice in-game. Also been posted previously in this thread. Attending family function. Will come back. Cheers!
Thats great thank-you! This is a great game, if i could give ant feedback it would be that the controls are not that responsive when attacking and blocking? Making it feel a little sluggish, but its a great game and i like the timing of the fights on when to hit and when to defend..thumbs up for sure!
Before I really have to go and take care of a drunk uncle (reminds me of SNL), I'd like to thank Dark Nation Reviews for the in-depth review. If you have time, please check it out. And not because of Ire, but because the writer is talented. Writing/Composition is one of the most difficult skills/crafts IMHO. http://dnreviews.net/2015/05/16/ire-blood-memory/
Did my special charge up attack, chipped away almost half the Greater Felfiends health, lured him to a barrel, watched him attack it and get exploded, dead boss is dead. Feelsgoodman.jpg
True I didn't realize that elements was that effective. Thank a lot I have to say it again, great game devs!
Anyone else having trouble with the controls on iPad? While the game looks gorgeous, it seems broken. My character kept getting stuck facing one direction and I couldn't change it. I recorded it with Everplay, but no idea if it uploaded properly, since it didn't show up on my YouTube channel (despite giving it access to it). Edit: It uploaded (although it looks pretty awful): Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
It doesn't appear to be broken. It just seems as though the auto lock on system was on. Hope this helped
You automatically lock onto enemies. There's a button you can tap to switch between targets or hold it down to disengage the lock. I couldn't tell you which virtual button it is because I'm playing with an MFi controller (on which it is the left trigger). You know you're locked on when you see a glowing yellowish small orb in the middle of the enemy.
Except I didn't tap the target button (not internationally, at least) and I didn't notice this happen on my iPhone. I was always able to turn to face the other way. On my iPad, I couldn't face the other way and my character moved like he was jacked up on something. At least, I don't think it happened on my iPhone. Will double-check. But the iPad joystick feels extra extra clunky.
It's the icon with the cross on it - second from the top. It "locks on" to an enemy, similar to Dark Souls or Monster Hunter. While locked on, you're always facing that enemy. Tapping the button once changes the lock to a different enemy and holding it for a short while releases the lock and you can run freely. Edit: It always auto-locks the first enemy that comes near you. Has always been like that on my iPad. Maybe the iPhone handles it differently.
