i was on my ipod yesterday then i plugged it in over night and it turned off so i tried turning it back on and it wouldn't start. then i tried plugging it in and turning it on and that didn't work then i tried plugging it into itunes it turned on then immediately off. I just spent like 20 dollars on apps in like the past 3 days and i planed on syncing them to the computer to day so if theres a way other than rebooting it what can i do.
Try holding the home button and sleep/wake button (top button) at the same time for 5 seconds and your itouch will restart and nothing will get erased.
You won't lose any apps - purchases are tied to your iTunes account - you can download them through iTunes on your computer. As mentioned before, push and hold both buttons until the screen turns off. Then push the sleep button and you should get an apple logo - let it sit there. I've seen my iPod Touch take 23 minutes to boot from that point before! (Then again I've got 500+ apps on there... )
nothings working i dont care about losing my apps anymore i just want my ipod fixed if i cant fix it well then ill use mr. warrenty
lol i think the only thing that REALLY sucks is i just had to reboot my ipod and stuff and that i spent like 20$ on apps like cod zombies ( WHICH ROCKS) and i was looking forward to playing it.
If it happens again then im going to use my warrenty this is the 2nd time its happened in the like last 6 weeks.
Happened to me three weeks ago. Just got it fixed last Tuesday. There's nothing you can do actually. Hit the apple store and tell them to restore it for you through one of their master computers.
Sounds like it's a problem on your computer. There's another trick, put your ipod in DFU mode (go to youtube to search it up), then click restore. This is a full boot and it SHOULD be able to work.
Yes. Just press the 'buy' button and it will say "you have already bought this so would you like to download it for free" and then just press ok.
