      I am upgrading to iOS4 and since 3PM EST, it has been backing up all that time! It is only about 1/10th done on the bar?

      Cancel it, it won't work. I had the exact damn problem.

      Just do a manual backup without trying to update. Then manually restore it, and try the update again.

      I'm really pissed at iTunes right now. I restored from a backup I did manually, and once it finished like 100 apps were missing, totally random ones too. They even showed up on iTunes under the apps tab, but not on the iPod itself.

      I'm restoring from a backup once more. IT BETTER F*CKING WORK.

      thanks, because i already backed up today 4 the update. That back up only took 45 minutes :rolleyes: Thanks alot you hellish bat:D
