I've been looking at the new iPod Touch 4G, and I noticed its lacking the small plastic area where the antennae is supposed to be like on the older iPod Touch. It got me thinking, didn't the iPad had wireless issues because of the metal material used for the casing?

Maybe thats why its so thin, so theres less blocking of wifi connection. I really hope it won't though, I dont know how many more apple screw ups the world can handle.

Something else I found. I'm hoping this won't present an issue since I use wireless a lot on my campus.

On a different topic, I just noticed they switched the side of the sleep button.

Well surely the iPhone 4 needs it because it has 2 or 3 antennas doing different things. The iPod only needs the wifi and that's it. Also can't they just have the wifi built on the inside?

Man that is gonna feel weird, considering that I'm a lefty. It really is starting to look like the iPhone now.

I'm fine with iPhone, even though I too am a lefty. I always preferred the iPod's sleep button placement, but I guess this does bring unity. Plus, it's easier to attach the sleep button closer to the camera than anywhere else, due to all the free space opened by it.
