iPod Touch 4G Multitasking Broke?

My multitasking bar tries to multitask iOS3.0 games.
And when I turn off the iPod (not putting it in sleep mode) and turn it back on, the games are still multitasking.
Any ideas? I'm going to restore is there is no solution out there.

Isn't that normal? All apps go into the multitask bar, regardless of whether or not they actually support it. I don't know if they're usually there after a reboot but I don't see why not, it won't do any harm.

    I don't think it's normal.
My friend has the iPod 3G, and when he plays a iOS 3.0 game, it doesn't multitask it, but mine does.
I've played the same game on both 3G and 4G and it only multitasked on mine.

Everything multitasks for me. iOS version isn't the decider anyway, a game can be made for 4.0 and still not support multitasking.

The one wierd thing is, there is one iOS 3.0 app that multitasks, and that game is Command & Conquer: Red Alert.

That's how it works for me. If an app doesn't have multitasking support, it just restarts when I tap on the icon in the multitasking bar.

As far as I know, all apps go to the bar automatically.

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
Same here. I'll quit a game without multitasking and it'll still be in the bar. It's a bit of a pain, but for the feature, it's totally worth it.

To get rid of them, just tap and hold on any of the icons there and you can delete them from the bar like deleting an app from the phone. Deleting it from the multitasking bar does not mean it will get deleted permanently.
