iPod Touch 4G - Battery endurance?

    In my previous post I wrote that apple product has weak battery.

    SqueakyG: I originally had an iPod touch 2G and I was never satisfied with the battery life. Now I have just upgraded to a Touch 4G and I'm finding that the battery life is just about identical:

    :confused: I'd been using a 2G for 2 years and agree the battery life sucks big time but recently purchased the Touch 4G and finding its battery life is excellent and thats without any rebooting. I'd been playing for hours and still the battery was (est) 20% down. I was very impressed with this.
    I think the newer device has improved immensely from the 2G Touch.:)

    Heh.....rebooting used to be a standard function when downloading games before being played when they first came out. Devs used to put it in their descriptions at times even. It does help to clear out your device and surprised this function isn't being noted as once before.
    I used Memory Info to clear out my other device but won't work on the newer ones I see. Really going to miss that app. (I'd gotten it prior to it being crippled)
