Hello everyone! I told you you would forget about me by the time I showed back up! But, I have come bearing great news! iPod touch (4)s are now shipping, at least if you ordered on day 1! I ordered at 11:58PDT, on Sept. 1 and mine is departing China for delivery to my door on Thursday! What are you all seeing? EDIT : Shipping out of Kunshan, CN. Interesting. New Foxconn plant? iPad came from Shenzhen. I chose 2 day shipping, which could impact arrival date for some. EDIT2 : Wow, I screwed that up. I actually ordered at 11:32PDT. Go figure.
Yup, mine is shipping also. Mine is set for Friday the 10th though. Just need to drudge through the week and play with my new toy this weekend!
That's probably because of what shipping you picked, and it's all up to FedEx, so it could EASILY arrive earlier.

Hopefully we'll start seeing some more retina display games now that the iPod Touch 4 is approaching release.

Me? The Retina display. The cameras, I couldn't care less about, but that display, =D. The stores should get them soon, but I personally have no idea about that. They do NOT have them at the moment, as far as I know. All reports point to no, anyway.
ughh haha i ordered mine from amazon on friday the 3rd i think and the estimated time was the 20th great ahah, oh well hopefully it will come early
