Ok, so i feel like a nwb asking this but I want to find out.

I have an ipod version 2.2.1 and I am debating whether to upgrade it to the new 3.1. But there is a problem, i have bought many games and not all of them say that they are 3.0 compatible. If it doesnt say that it is compatible does it mean that i wont be able to play it if i upgrade? Or does it just mean that the new features that 3.0 brings wont work with the app?

Someone please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

ils ne seront pas charger dans votre iPod :D

    Slaving peon.
Not here; not there; not anywhere!
Some games may not necessarily say they're 3.0 compatible, but a lot of those work just fine the way they are.

In most cases your games should be fine, but there is always the possibility for exceptions. Case in point: All my games were running fine under 3.0, but Ms Pac-Man broke in 3.1. Even with that said, it seems to really vary from one person to the next. There's just no sure-fire way to say everything's going to be okay, but I would expect 99% of your games to run just fine.

You know this is an international forum, why answer in french when the poster asked in english. In fact, there's a rule for it:

Do not do it: they totally screwed the volume controls. Now, you have to press volume a trillion times for it to go down AND when you change the settings to music for double tap of home, if no music is playing it closes whatever app your on and opens up the music app. That means no more of the easy trick to start the music once the game starts, now playing your own music HAS to be supported

That's nothing new, they just took that from the iPhone. It's always been that way for the iPhone. Just buy the apple earbuds with volume control and play/pause functionality. they work with all idevices since 3.0 (the double tap thing was in 3.0 on iPod Touches, also)

I have traveled a lot and native English speakers are most of the time the most narrow-minded people.

Nothing is going to happen if people say something in another language! It is only French! Nobody is going to attack you!

There are people here in Montreal, Quebec. Quebec is a French speaking province. There are Americans and English speaking Canadians and at most %5 of them speak French even if they have lived here for years.

Ok, sorry, to call english speakers narrow-minded and to use Quebec as an example is just ridiculous. I live in Quebec and I've gotten yelled at from random strangers in the bus for speaking in english on the phone. Sorry, as much as I agree with the part about nobody attacking each other, you picked the worst place in the world as an example.
And yes for the record I do speak french. I choose to speak english, I shouldn't be threatened to be kicked in the face by random strangers because of it. Screw this backwater province.

And you're also wrong in assuming that I'm a native English speaker. Lots of us on this forum are not, which is why there's a rule that we all write in English. Nobody is attacking anybody, I'm simply pointing out that it is only polite that everyone writes in a common language. This is a place where people exchange gaming thoughts and information, how can we achieve that if we all use our own language? I do understand a little French, but what makes you think that everyone here on this forum knows it. How would you feel, if you asked a question, and I answered you in Chinese? Before accusing anyone of being narrow-minded, try to consider all aspects before making a conclusion.
