That happened to my 3g cept it was only like a needle size, 1 cm bubble near my ear piece, i didnt care too much.
lol. I just thought that I had the verry same problem. I had a screen protector from switch-easy (came with my Rebel Touch case). This protector has acutally 3 layers! 1st layer is the one that has to be removed (step 1) prior to attaching it to the iDevice. The 2nd layer is the actual protector. The last layer is the one on top of the 2nd (to protect the protector ). I missjudged the 3rd layer with the last and was wondering why it peeled of so easily. I now wanted to replace my "defect" protector with one from Meritline and was freaked out as I saw those bubbles yourofl described. Then I saw that around the home button a "ring" remained as if the protector was still on (which it was; I only peeled of the third layer!) So what I'm saying is: Check your screen again yourofl! You most probably have still a layer of plastic on it!
