I've had my iPod Touch for nearly a year now, and I have no scratches on the front and a couple of splotches on the back. I take good care of my things! :D

Back when I had an iPod touch, I didn't use a case. I dropped the thing and the whole top part broke. Still to this day my case continues to be a life saver. (I've dropped my iPhone down the stairs 3 times on one night, 6 times on asphalt, many times on carpet, and many times on hardwood flooring)

I'm proud to say my iPod Touch is almost spotless. I dropped once when it fell 5 ft from my pocket face down onto the linoleum floor, so there's a tiny little scratch in one corner. I got a case 2 months after I got my iPT, shoved it into the case most of the time. The back is pretty flawless, there's not a single scratch visible on the apple logo :D

I've had my 1st Gen iPOd Touch for 2 or 3 years now. No scratches on the screen but some on the back.

Mine is honestly pretty banged up. Getting a case now would be pretty pointless. I've got small scratches on the front, a small ding, countless scratches on the aluminum. It's still in good condition, I just probably wouldn't get much for it on eBay. Still love it, though. My Nano, though, is almost perfect. It's just got some of the paint chipped off. Don't know how.

I have many small scratches on the back of my iPod touch and some weird marks. I was using a silicon case so I didn't think it helped much. I switched to a Rebel Touch and it has great protection. Hopefully no more scratches. I believe I have 1 small hairline crack on the front and a small scratch/another small hairline crack. My iPod is pretty banged up :(

I've had my ipod touch over a year and I don't use a case. It suprisingly only has one hairline scratch and maybe a few tiny ones at the top. The back might as well be brushed aluminum, but all in all it's held up way better than I thought it would. My girlfriends is extremely banged up:rolleyes: She's got a spider crack going through the whole screen, and even before that it was scratched to hell.

    McDonalds! French Fries anyone?
At that place... with those... people...
I had a 2nd Gen. iPod Touch for a year now, and I noticed about a week ago that there was a small scratch in the upper right corner. I was mad because I haven't dropped my iPod on any hard surface and I have a case... but the scratch doesn't get in the way and is hardly noticeable. :p   :D :) :(
