For some reason my iPod isn't syncing, and it's always getting a "Windows does not recognize this device, it has malfunctioned" notification. Although if I try again and again, it works like once out of twenty times. Help? I must have tried to plug it in and sync over 30 now, and it's still not working.

There's nothing wrong with my iPod, it's just that the USB cable won't connect. WTF my iPod is being a bitch.

FINALLY! On my 36th try it started syncing. Bitch-ass piece of shit USB cable. My brother accidentally took the one that actually came with my iPod Touch, even though he already has his own. Unfortunately, he's already out of college and about two cities away from me, so I'm going to have to wait till Christmas to get my original cable back. The cable I'm using currently is from my five year old iPod mini which I don't even use anymore.

Hmm..maybe try using a different USB? One of mine is retarded and if I have my iPod plugged in to charge, if I move it, it will disconnect, then reconnect, then disconnect, then reconnect, etc :D :p [btw that charging noise gets sooo annoying when it keeps beeping] Anyways, yea just try a different cord.

    EDIT:
Ahhh that sucks dude! I'm lucky, I have one from my Nano, one I got with my Touch, and another that I got from my mom since she dropped her Touch in the toilet [lmao]

    Selling it on eBay? LOL
This is your description, "Perfectly fine iPod touch"
Make the shipping free and say "kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo555ddddddddddddddddddddkliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" (sorry, my hamster was on the keyboard)
make it say "The UPS guy might drop it in the water"

If they paid via PayPal it should be covered against damages anyway so chances are they'd get at least the majority of their money back.

Actually I'm not 100% sure damages are covered... but they're definitely covered against their goods not being sent/delivered (on items up to £500 in the UK, not sure about US). I dunno what PayPal would do about you though :p
