      So... My iPod touch 2g's Home button doesn't work...
      I turned it off when it was working and when I turned it back on it stopped working.

      Will apple replace it if I tell them what is wrong with it?

      Oh sheet. I replaced an ipod Touch 1g because the headphone jack was messed up and they just gave me a new one... If they do replace it and just give me a new one.... How do I get certain game data? For example "My Brute" how do I get my account onto the "new" ipod touch?

      I attempted to contact the developers of my brute. :p

      Anyways, will Apple replace a broken home button?

      i feel sorry for you man. At least i might be able to beat your brutes now :p:D. but really, id be devastated if that happened to me.

      I assume you have already tried restarting your iPod atleast a couple of times. If it still doesnt work then Apple has to replace/repair it for you IF the iPod is still under warranty. Other wise you`re screwed :p

      Also give a complete restore a try if nothing else works for you.

      Never played my brute so have no real idea. But why cant he? Is the game data linked to the device`s UDID?

      couldn't you just back up the old touch, then use the old backup on the new one?
