ok, I have no idea how to do this, but I would LOVE to have an emultator of an ipod click-wheel on my iPod Touch. Why you ask? what if it would let you play all the click-wheel games that you bought, right on the emulator? wouldn't that be totally frigging awesome?

also it would be fun to be able to scroll through my music and videos that way.

I could never master the wheel. I'd always overshoot the song :p And unless Apple integrates it into the OS, how'll you scroll through music? You can't have other apps running in the background.

Great idea, but this would be impossible without jailbreak or 3.0 out. And this is assuming that Apple would accept it, considering that the clickwheel is theirs.

But why not add Zune emulation to that app as well? The zune pad is pretty cool :D I'm probably gonna get flamed for that. There could also be G1 and Blackberry emulators! (maybe getting a bit carried away there though)

Impossible. Can't distinguish taps from hard presses.
