iPingpong only came out on 12th Dec (in UK) I had to try this when I saw the screen shots and the game looks good in play and the menu systems are really slick As for the game - you know, I'm getting a bit addicted to it. At first I tried it after installing and was a bit disappointed (but I was rushing out on way to a job - so try-out was really rushed) now having played it more this morning it really is quite good - I'm getting better at it and starting to find better ways of dealing with angles, altering pace and getting some spin on the ball I still haven't won a match (which may suggest the difficulty is too high?) but then I'm enjoying trying and reckon it will get all the more satisfying as I get better at timing the swipes for shots (I'm finding that making moves as close to the shape you'd swing a real bat works best - which is neat) all in all, iPingpong seems great value for 59p here in UK (99c I guess in USA) just don't be put off when you first try it and it might seem more basic (until you get the swipe shapes to make for best shots) - it's the sort of game that gets better the more you play - so longevity value seems high [hqyoutube]DaMGCzLOiBU[/hqyoutube] [hqyoutube]cL5lBLw-2yw[/hqyoutube]
I took a punt on this, seeing as £.59p ($.99c) is dirt cheap, and I was expecting to be deleting it after a few short plays. It's surprisingly intuitive and natural controls are a joy, and feels right. this is a gem.
Interesting choice to use 70's porn music.. Is there a way to make the ball move faster? From the video it appears to be moving in slow motion.
It's a well done game (even spin is supported) that just needs a better balance IMO. Sometimes I have a feeling that I have a few plays to get a point... Or I just need to practice it a bit more.
cf 3D Vector Ball Well, this game certainly looks pretty fun, but I already have 3D Vector Ball, which I already really like, so I think I'll just stick to that. It looks nice for only being a dollar though.
3D Vector Ball? Is it worth to purchase? Man, I never heard about this game. By the way, iPingpong is not that kind of game that makes me want to play all the time...
Suggestion? Hey Guys, Do you have any suggestions for the new update. I will be updating the iPingpong soon. Looking forward for the suggestions.
As I wrote before sometimes I have a feeling that I have a few plays in order to defeat the CPU. I'd be nice to see a better balance or more powerful plays depending on how you play the ball. Graphics are great by the way. A career mode would be great but I'm not sure if this kind of feature fits in a $0.99 game.
I haven't buy this game YET. Just wondering is there any statistic option that keep tracks on how many games have you played, wins and lose? Even better, a World Tournament, Playing Ranking (with different title). Without it, it would seems like playing it for nothing.
if you could get multiplayer running smoothly, this game would be simply amazing. Graphics are great. It runs really really smoothly. However, it feels like no matter how hard you try to hit the ball cross table (left-right, right-left), it doesn't go very far to the other side. I remember playing the online table tennis from miniclip ( http://www.miniclip.com/games/table-tennis/en/ ), and it seemed like you could have more control of how far the ball goes nd such. The serving could also be improved? adding records would be pretty cool too. But I'm pretty sure records everywhere would be pretty horrible cuz the computer A.I. is challenging. (or maybe that's just me) Challenging is good. Great game so far! Keep up the great work!
Feature We will be updating Multiplayer feature and will try to improve the AI. Scores and Stats may not be updated, because in this case user have to delete the pre installed build and re install a new build(due to Records issue). Any other feature you guys can suggest then do let me know. Thanks, Shivnandan Singh
