LMFAO this poll is ridiculous and makes little sense..i have a 2nd gen itouch [not exactly "inexpensive"] and if other ppl are like me, then maybe we have different carriers [i.e. verizon] since at&t's service is less than satisfactory in comparison IMO.

    EDIT:
this poll is prob g2 get locked/moved..prob belongs in the Lounge

I'd never buy an iPod touch for myself (why carry two devices?) but I'd happily buy them as gifts for kids/teens vs a DS or similar. Suppose your work provides you with a blackberry. Why pay for a second phone? Obviously you can't use the blackberry for anything except basic calls and ugly text emails so you'd buy an iPod Touch for the real experience.

Yes, I look down on Blackberries, and more so on horrid phones running Windows Mobile. Urgh.

(Actually I'm partly kidding, I've never really used the blackberry much but when I tried it was an incomprehensible oddity with it's trackball and odd GUI. Probably fine if you're used to it. )

I have a 2nd gen iPod touch and I would probably look down on 1st gen iPhone owners because they lack Bluetooth and have a slower processor, so it depends which generation.

Ever since I upgraded from an iPod touch to an iPhone, I've clearly become a better person. And since I'm better, I don't look down on others :D

Actually, I feel sorry for iPhone owners, with their hefty monthly bills and iron-clad contracts.
I can do pretty much everything I want to do on my Touch. I just use a cheap phone for talking and texting...

This is like saying to Bill Gates do you look down on people with less money than yourself? The answer being of course he does because hes not that big.

and in a serious answer: I wouldn't say so though because in gaming terms the iPod Touch is equal and probably even better as it doesn't have phone calls, SMS etc. to worry about

Yeah, I stay up some nights dreaming of raiding the homes of iPod touch owners. You know, burning crosses, slaughtering cattle, torching neighborhoods, etc..

Hehe, I remember when my 2nd gen iPod Touch ran circles around my coworkers iPhones!

    And: Wah! 32 Gigs!

If any iPhone owner got snobby with me, I'd just have to ask how much they're paying a month for it. I've got Wifi at work and at home, which is where I am 90% of the time anyway...

Sometimes I feel bad for them, since they just have a ipod but in the end, the phone aspect really is seperate, although very nice to have if you use the internet browser and have to get your email everywhere.

My Itouch compliments my Blackberry very well. I would never consider switching to Iphone for the only reason that I bought the Itouch solely for gaming. I'm not about to add a phone feature to drain my battery even faster.

This is funny. What a silly question, of course we look down on iPod touch or ipotch or whatever the hell you call them, users! When I see an ipod touch it's like the equivalent of seeing a Prius on the road... I laugh!! ATT for life!!!!

Only kidding, got much love for ipotch's :)
