Well it started downloading a 3.0 firmware for free. I dunno if it's first or second generation. iTunes page says I have to pay anyways. I'll wait to see what happens when the download finishes.
wait so if an app we have is not compatible, will it just not show up on the iPhone? What will happen, Im not done installinng yet
or we could all just wait until the next update and get this one for free. I'm down £20 already from updates when I could only be a fiver down and have all 3.

Some BS happened when I tried to update, so now I've had to restart my computer and restore my iPhone for no good reason. Screw this, but I want it so bad!
lol i did too but now that i have it, not sure what to do with it lol. I have the first gen iPhone. IT is a cool update tho, but 2.0 was definitely a bigger jump, introducing 3rd pary apps
now that the mms keyboard has landscape thats pretty cool, but they should have had that from the beginning. Now i have no use for it, i have adapted perfectly to the portrait keyboard. Actually i am the fastest typer on it in the world. Alphabet on iPhone portrait keyboard in 3.787 seconds
just tap the screen in the area and a menu comes up with copy, select/select all, paste. and if you hold links aand then let go in safari you can open them in a new page.
Unfortunatley I spent all my money on apps so I can't get this just yet. Can anybody tell me if speaker output can be enabled even while headphones are plugged in? Because I have a mic for my 2G but it is identified as microphones when plugged in and I can't get sound unless I unplug it, so I can't use apps such as ocarina.
Help!!! I am writing this from my iPod and whenever I try to do anything on the YouTube appit says "cannot connect to YouTube" Its not the Internet because I can use safari fine. Please help, loginning in to YouTube was one ofmy most anticipated features of 3.0!
