I have seen rumors about the 4th beta dropping tonight at 9 PST. Which is midnight for anyone on EST. Makes sense, along the right timeline, and all that. What do you think it will bring, if anything? (Besides bug fixes)

Hmm.....I want to see what it has/updated.
Sadly I think I'm just gonna give it a try to DL it and install it....(Will regret though)

No. I regretted beta 1. I was banging my head on the wall for my jailbreak. Still miss the emulators, but beta 3 is smooth, and really great.

how do you get itunes 8.2 pre-release? and what does beta 4 fix? the problems I'm having are slowish times sometimes, and no Glu games work except space monkey.

EDIT: Nevermind, now I know you also get it from the dev.

Anything new in this beta? I'm not gonna bother to install iTunes 8.2 beta and all that crap again.

We have it running on a first gen iPod no one uses. So it's no problem. :D

Oh ok, well mine is on my phone, so I kind of need that and can't have it expire lol

I just installed beta 4 and iTunes 8.2, everything went fine.

I really hate to ask, but does someone with a working installer for iTunes 8.2 send me it. The one I was given doesn't work right. Well, it installed, but iTunes freezes, all the time. It'd be great if I could get one. Or I'm going to have to find a torrent. :(

  16. gonna download after dinner. It'll try to keep itunes 8.2 in a separate directory than itunes 8.1

I just got both they are downloading

  18. Well so far no luck. Put itunes 8.2b7 on my mac mini (didn't want to screw up my imac itunes) and tried to restore 3.0 beta 4 and about half way through error 6. So freaking scared of that itunes warning about not installing on existing library. Gonna have to print out list of apps in case it hoses the whole dang thing.

On Windows btw. It's really killing me. I don't want to uninstall it, and lose all my settings, but it won't let be downgrade either. Anyone have any ideas. I guess I could copy all the directory stuff from an iTunes 8.1.1, and just leave the iTunes.exe, but I don't know how that would work out. It's really annoying. I depended on iTunes. Now it's being stupid. If I have to wait 2 weeks to sync my iPod. :(
