Just got this text supposedly from the Geeksquad about how the iPhone is unsafe from hackers before the 3.01 update. I'm on O2 UK but I don't have a clue how these guys got my number so I have switched to flight mode just in case this is another scam. Has anyone else heard anything about this or recieved the text.
Got the text as well, got my iphone from carphone warehouse last year, as geeksquad seems to be a phrase used by best buy, and cpw now being best buy europe my guess was it was from them. A whois on geeksquad.co.uk says registered to Best Buy Enterprise Services, Inc. as expected.
