I own pretty much every Doom engine game available on iTunes - Doom Classic, Hacx, Doomsday Series, Bastards etc.

I even recently made a clone of my Doom Classic with my Doom2 wad so that I could play through Doom2 on my iPod (even though I'll buy it again once they make an official port).

I just can't help but seem to think there is a missed opportunity for the amount of already successful total conversions available for Doom that could be ported like HacX was.

    1. WolfenDoom series - http://lazrojas.com/wolfendoom/index2.html

The WolfenDoom series is huge, and each episode is conceptually unique within the Wolfenstein mythology. My favourite being the Astrostein trilogy.
The amount of gameplay presented here is huge - over 12 new episodes each featuring up to 21 levels in settings unique to the Doom universe.

    2. Batman Doom - http://www.doomworld.com/batman/main.shtml

Batman Doom is an excellent take on the Doom Series and that made big waves in the mod community back when it was first released. Tons of new weapons, enemies, and textures fill large levels with objective based gameplay that help keep this Doom TC feel different from other mods.

There are tons more of released TCs available at http://www.doomworld.com - I hope that maybe a developer/publisher see this thread and decides to try and give these games new life on the iPhone like what happened for HacX. Though I figure I'll probably never see any of them on the iPhone, maybe people who are interested in the Doom engine would give them a try on their PC or Mac - as they are tons of fun, and worth the effort to play through if you are a fan of the original Doom gameplay.
