Thank you for taking photos Blake! I also took a couple and will be posting them soon... I have to tell you, our "little" party turned into an amazing gathering of indie devs that I am honoured to have met. We expected around 40-50 ppl and we figure there was at least 150 ppl there! We ran out of room at the Marriott! We are also so glad that media showed up; Arnold you were so gracious to sponsor drinks for a good portion of the party and we greatly appreciate that. I do wish now that we were more organized, but this was our first party and I truly thought it was going to be a small, casual gathering. But, now I know to expect differently. Speaking of parties, we had so much fun doing this one, we are going to host another one at WWDC! I am going to start a separate thread for this to get gauge interest and attendance. Thank you again for those who showed up and contributed to the truly fascinating and engaging conversation that occurred all evening. It was the highlight of GDC for sure!
I'd also like to give a big shout out to Brian with Fuel Industries who sponsored drinks too! It was truly a pleasure to meet you and you are an awesome, lovely person. There are so many cool people I met that night...but sadly I didn't get to speak with nearly as many people as I would have liked! Hopefully I can catch up with the rest of you at the IDU Part 2 party during WWDC we're throwing...stay tuned for that.
