iPhone and the expectation of getting something for nothing

    I liked the idea of ordering top ten lists or adding a new top ten list to list sales by dollar value. This could potentially give more expensive apps a little more traction when on this list the sale of Assassin's Creed is equal to ten sales of iFart Mobile.

    Something I really think the App Store needs though is a listing fee for applications. With a $99 yearly fee and an all you can eat approach to listing applications, all they're doing is allowing idiots like Khalid Shaikh to list 27 pages of crapware. If Apple charged something like $250 or $500 to list an application, the investment required would really make most of these idiots think twice and only list apps that are high quality and they know will sell. At $500 per app, I highly doubt Khalid Shaikh has $162,000 to list all of his junk.

    That's 324 apps right there gone, and I imagine there would be thousands of similar apps that would get nuked in the process.
