I switched to the S3 mainly due to the LTE and larger screen. The perks of the "open source" OS was a bonus. I can overclock my Processor if I want. Install custom Firmwares that make the device 1000x better than it was out of the box, Storage capacity like Ive never seen on a phone (I have 96GB of storage between my internal 32gb and external 64GB microSD). The amount of customization I can do to the device is what convinced me I liked it more than the iPhone. However, the AppStore still reigns supreme over Google Play. And the games pale in comparison to what I see over here. I plan to buy the iPod touch just for the gaming aspect of Apples devices.
Not lazy as much as they scream "Safe". Apple seems to be taking the Safe approach and not being the innovators they claim they are.
Sadly, the innovator is dead. And regarding the iPhone 5 - what else do you guys expect from Hodapp but praise?
I'm not praising it, I just find this reaction to be hilarious. "They made a great phone better, #### this I'm out." You guys have fun getting locked in to two year Android and/or Windows Phone contracts!
I think the iPhone 5 looks great. Will be a great upgrade from my 4, but I can't afford to upgrade right now. Sometime next year. Might even wait for the 5s. Not sure yet.
So the iPhone 5 will have better graphics than the iPod Touch 5th gen? Will the 5th gen iTouch have better graphics than the iPhone 4S? I r so confused rite naow >_<
iphone 5 has the A6 chip ipod touch has the a5 which is the same has the iphone 4s. It is unknown however if the ipod has a ram upgrade
That Jimmy Kimmel video was funny. Especially that one guy that said it was nice to have screens now on the front and back of the iphone. But it was funny when everyone said the new phone was so light, when they all had covers that added weight to their phones. Now if you could get the new iphone 5, and cover it up to look like a samsung phone, and test that to people who have an iphone 4s, wonder how many people would say their iphone 4s was still better...
Well, the 5th gen has the A5, so it'll run as fast as the 4S, but I think the graphics are slightly improved. And the iPhone 5 has the A6, so it'll run faster than the 5th gen iPod touch.
Actually if the iPod Touch 5 has the same specs as the iPhone 4S it should be slower than the 4S. Don't forget those extra pixels.
The audience was ready shortly after the 4S was released. Well. I was, anyway. Even though I like Android better, I like checking up on the new Apple devices because I still like them. I'm going to be honest. The reason I'm not getting a new iPod Touch isn't because I think it's not good enough. If I had the extra money to spend, I'd be all for purchasing one.
Slower than the 4s dues to extra pixels or the iPhone 5, which has the a6. Probably has a ram upgrade to 512, same as the 4s and 4, probably 5. The a6 doesn't look to be a very big increase in performance over the a5, so I wouldn't worry about to too much.
