I have custom ringtones on my iPhone 3GS as well as my new 4S. The ringtones sound great on my 3GS but sound really lacking in bass and clarity on the 4S. Just in case I was remembering the quality wrong on my 3GS, I played the ringtones side by side and there is a huge difference. Strangely, when I use the same ringtones for text messages on the 4S, the quality rises to what they should be, according to my 3GS. Does anyone else experience this? Is there any specific reason for this?
