I have owned every iphone from day one and this phone by far is the best yet. I had to return one because I dropped it and the screen scratched on the back. Luckily they didn't see it. But this phone is amazing and I HAVEN'T DROPPED ONE CALL YET..

I got myself a body case because of this reason. The bumpers do a decent job preserving the original look of the iPhone 4s but they can still scratch if it's dropped face down on an uneven surface like cement. I did have a Zagg full body Shield which helps prevent the scratches but I don't like the textured feel the shield gives.

What kinda mug would you have to be to drop an iPhone face down onto concrete. Seriously.

It doesn't matter. The point is that these devices can be scratched when dropped and that's why many people buy cases for them. Maybe if future iPhones start using gorilla glass like the Motorola Droids do http://gizmodo.com/5443146/gorilla-glass-hands-on-unbreakable Then it should be perfectly safe using them without a case or screen protector.

People love to hate. I have not had 1 problem w my iPhone 4. Neither hav any of my friends who have one. Sure if I cover the little antenna and squeeze as hard as I can my phone will lose 1 bar. So what. Who is gonna squeeze their phone that tight while covering the antenna like that. And even losing the bar it works fine. This is such a stupid arguement and is utter non sense.

And i am in no way an Apple fan boy. I prefer PCs to Macs unless im doing music production, or editing, or anything work related in a studio.

The phone is amazing and craps on every other phone out there. Put this antenna BS to rest. Gizmodo is full of crap.

Sorry if somebody already mentioned this but even Steve Jobs also found this vid amusing and actually used it a few minutes before the start of the July 16 press conference while everyone was taking their seats.

  18. I am in Canada. We are largely impervious to the antenna issue. Maybe they just like being on a carrier that still rape you, but at least give you the courtesy of a reacharound.
