    Guys,

did any of you deal with "tntnorthnj" on eBay? This price ($600 for a 32G model with free UPS shipping if you purchase two of them; $450 when purchasing 10) sounds to be too good to be true, particularly inside the EU where the minimal price is around 600 euros for a 16GB model.

Nevertheless, I haven't found anything of related to his doing any scam.

    The "Buy it now"-auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-Apple-Iphone-4-32GB-UNLOCKED-FACTORY-/350274239003?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item518df8ba1b

It's got eBay Buyer Protection so even if it does turn out to be a scam you're pretty well covered.

He answered my mail, stating he already has white (!) iPhones, while only having firmware version 4.0, which means they must be older than one month. White iPhones haven't even been released anywhere, AFAIK...

He stated "I bought the phones from Apple Factory Foxconn and also this is the reason why i have low prices."

Yup, the same I wonder - on eBay, the average price is twice, that is, well over $1000...

Yeah exactly the price was the red flag to me. Plus, unless I'm completely and utterly mistaken, you can't just walk up to a factory and buy units for discounted prices. He probably bought them off a factory worker that stole them or something like that.

It is interesting that he has white iPhone's running 4.0... I didn't know white iPhone's were not yet available. I had a white 3g and 3gs but when I first saw the iPhone 4's on the Apple Keynote presentation, I thought the black model looked much, much better.

Yup. Must be either stolen or a cheap Chinese copy. Pretty strange a well-established eBay seller sells them...

    Think of it like this:

If iPhones easily go for $1000, why wouldn't he just put it that price himself? That way he'd blend in with the crowd, and get more money himself!

The same I thought. However, the guy has tens of thousands of transactions over 12 years and I've thought he can't be foolish enough to start a scam or start selling stolen goods.
