I just got the following confirmation today. Looks like the iPads are shipping out! Anyone think there's a possibility they might arrive early? The only thing I'm perplexed by is UPS shipping. I thought it was supposed to be FedEx? (Not that I'm going to complain as long as it arrives on time. )
They won't get there early.. Apple has probably told UPS to hold them until the 3rd... they've done it before.
You're probably right. Still, it would be nice to play with mine a day or two early. (Didn't one of the iPhone releases do the same thing and a few customers had their units arrive a day early? I seem to remember something about that.) I forgot to mention one detail. The tracking info states that the package is shipping from Shenzhen, CN. Seems Apple is shipping directly from the factory...
Might get it early. Mine states by April 3 and UPS does not generally deliver to homes on Sat. I'll hope.
