    Hi,

I've had my ipad2 now for a year and half and I use it every day but I think the battery is dying.

I've noticed over the last few days, if its on like 65% charge and I turn off the ipad, when I turn it on in the morning the battery is down to 12-15%. :(

Is it possible to fit a new battery or pay apple to do so?

..and before people chime in with 'buy a new one' that is simply not possible, I cannot afford it.

Apple will replace it for $99 plus shipping. I've hear they actually just send you a new iPad but I'm not sure if that's true. Replacing it yourself would be super messy and I would avoid that. Having anyone other than Apple do it is a route I wouldn't personally recommend since Apple's price seems reasonable and you can count on their quality of service.
