My iPad has just run out of battery and has turned off, so I went to plug it in and charge it, but no screen comes on. No apple or the lock screen. What might be the problem and how do i solve this? thanks in adv
Send it to me, I'll fix it. No but seriously, I'd just give it a few more minutes and wait. Then turn it back on.
Listen to Booch. The iPad can't run off AC power alone so it has to charge the battery a certain amount before it'll turn on.
Also - the charger can go bad on these things, and the cord can go bad. I had problems with charging and the new charger and cord that Apple sent me fixed the problem.
Usually my iPod dies at night. I have to let it charge for like ten minutes before it starts to turn on. Give it some time!
Mine does this sometimes and it also will not reboot when holding down the power and home button! Safari also crashes a lot...
Mine dies sometimes (with full power) and stays off for about a good 5-10 minutes before finally showing the apple logo, then it tkaes another 5 mins to start... YEEESH. Though this is highly uncommon Just wait a bit and then turn it on by pressing the home / sleep together and seperately and holding them... RANDOM buTTON PRESSiNG FTW
hey, guys. my iPad ISN'T dead. All i had to do was wait for about 10mins and the apple logo came up, then charging went as normal. I realized that charging occurs as soon as you plug it in WHEN it has more than 0%. If you let it run out completely, it will black out and take more time until the logo comes up (~5, 10mins longer). What a relief... thanks for all the support!
