Currently I am developing with a screen size 1366 x 768 for all the Devices. Now that I have an Ipad pro, I can see that things are getting blurry. Would you recommend, updating the graphics and layout to the new Ipad Pro standards, which will increase the filesize... (no clue by how much yet) and if so, what would be the recommend screen size for developing with the Ipad Pro size included? Thank you
Sadly, it can be hard with 2D graphics and even worse when you work with set screen sizes (and generally 1:1 textures). We shifted to 3D for characters and stopped using 1:1 sprite mapping for textures (making it resolution independent) and have found filesizes to be a lot smaller and although some textures are blurry, we can generally get away with it. It is all you can really do when still using bitmaps rather than vectored artwork.
