I don't see why, it's one thing to be against a frivolous purchase and something else completely to get it for free. I'd love a free iPad 2 but somehow I doubt Apple is going to send me one. They should though, I should totally get free stuff from Apple all the time!

I did however tell my wife about this story and she did admit, that she would be pissed right off the bat but would laugh eventually. That was actually my first response when I read it: "undermined much". Apple are pretty big-headed thinking they can just overrule the decsion of someone's wife, but if it really was just the cost issue then I'm sure she saw the funny side in the end.
There are so many sexist jokes that could be entered below but I am refraining myself to doing so. It is nice to see Apple having a laugh and creating some basically free publicity along the way
Really lucky to get an Ipad 2 for free they are like 10 times more powerful than other ipads and don't take forever to boot up they make normal ipads look like a calculator.
