I've been digging through some of the games in these lists, but haven't really found what I'm looking for. Is there a good RPG that's local multiplayer and more in the dungeon crawler vein? Dungeon Hunters isn't a bad option (games like Dungeon Siege and Champions of Norath also fit the bill), but I wondered if there were others like this. On a similar note, and far less likely to be around it seems, I'd ideally like to find a game that's like HeroQuest (old board game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HeroQuest) that allows for multiple players in a turn based arena, and the off chance that one could act as a DM? Thanks for any input!
Which of them have item trading with other players? Are there some whic offer an auction house, like in WoW or Order&Chaos?
The closest that comes to mind is the Graal games but not auite a match. I don't think iOS has many good mmo games since oddly few seem to take off like Graal has. Exitium and Mission Europa come to mind, both have an online mailbox exchange system.
Here are some iOS RPG new releases: Saturday Morning RPG (JRPG, 1st episode free... paid IAP episodes) Radiant Saga(Free, game in english but description not... JRPG, I think) Treasure Swipe (unsure if this is a RPG or just a casual mimic) Monster Hunt (information vague)
Similar RPG to Crimson Gem Saga One of my favorite games on my old iPhone was Crimson Gem Saga because of its great, detailed graphics, down-to-earth story, and fun gameplay. However, since updating to ios 5, it's been crashing nonstop. And it doesn't look like the developer cares to fix this. So, I'm looking for another RPG that has similar cute graphics AND a fun story. Games like Zenonia & Secret of Mana aren't as good graphically and are nowhere near as funny as CGS. Please tell me there's something else like CGS out there! I would love to invest in a game while I fruitlessly wait for CGS to be updated.

Wow, this is a great thread! I looked through the WRPGs list and found quite a few that I hadn't even heard about: Birth: Dalarian Invasion Earth And Legend HD Last Crusader Deluxe 1 and 2 Zenome Ep. 1 Necromancer Rising Are all these worth it?
Xenome Ep 1 is good (a promised follow-up may still be in the works or indefinitely delayed). I understand Earth and Legend is good (but not as good as Aralon) and it's by reputable developers of Crusade of Destiny. Either Xenome or Earth and Legend would probably be a good bet. Necromancer Rising is a precusor to Mission Europa that uses an older version of the same engine so you're better off getting Mission Europa instead. The Birth games look thrashy to me but I haven't played it yet; same for Last Crusaders.
Have u played Ash/Ash2? Id also reccomend Fall of angels, Adventure bar story and Saturday morning Rpg. Also Squids 1&2 although it's not ur traditional turn based Rpg but kinda...
Sweet, thanks! How about Crusade of Destiny? Noticed you mentioned it and I accidentally left it out of my list
I'd advise waiting on Crusade of Destiny because although it's a recommendable game the playing world is less detailed than more recent western RPGs so for your time/money starting with a more recent product might satisfy you more. The contols are really smooth and it's eventually worth getting.
Updated the upcoming games listing with links (thanks to KPOPLOVE and Sanuku for threads in upcoming games) Added: Immortal Dusk - KRPG Master of Dungeon – top down action RPG Duel of Fate – card RPG Whakan – card RPG (uses “spheres” instead of cards) Plus there's Pocket Heroes, which looks worthy, but I've made a point of omitting MMO only games so haven't included it.
I didn't announce the additions to the upcoming list because I'm not sure there's as much potential fanfare for upcoming releases (those seem like more of a tease), but they are included in the thread.
If you guys had to rate the top three card RPG games for iPad, what would you say they are? I really want to get into these but I have always been a strict single player RPG guy or an MMO guy, never cards. Just don't know if there is one that is too difficult to get into or not.
